By creating an account or using ThriftBrain ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including free and paid subscribers.
ThriftBrain is an AI-powered visual appraisal and listing generation tool for resellers. Users can submit photos of items and receive AI-generated pricing estimates and marketplace listing drafts. ThriftBrain is provided "as is" and is intended for informational and productivity purposes only.
All appraisals, price estimates, and recommendations generated by ThriftBrain are produced by artificial intelligence and are estimates only. They do not constitute financial, legal, or professional advice. Market prices fluctuate and actual sale prices may vary. ThriftBrain is not responsible for any financial decisions made based on AI-generated output. Always verify pricing independently before purchasing or listing items.
You must create an account to use ThriftBrain. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service.
ThriftBrain offers a free plan with limited monthly scans and paid subscription plans (Flipper Pro and Dealer Pro) with higher daily scan limits and additional features. Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.
Due to the AI-based nature of the service, all subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the service, please contact us and we will work to resolve it or provide a credit at our discretion.
Each plan includes a defined number of AI scans per day or per month. Free plan: 5 scans per month. Flipper Pro: 50 scans per day. Dealer Pro: 100 scans per day. Limits reset at the start of each billing period. Unused scans do not carry over.
You agree not to: • Use ThriftBrain to submit unlawful, harmful, or deceptive content • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API • Share your account credentials with others • Use automated tools to artificially inflate scan usage • Resell or sublicense access to the Service
ThriftBrain and its content, features, and functionality are owned by the ThriftBrain team and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. AI-generated appraisals and listing drafts produced for you are yours to use for personal and commercial reselling purposes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThriftBrain and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to lost profits, data loss, or financial losses based on AI appraisal estimates. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 30 days prior to the claim.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
